About Bull Terrier Dogs

falconbridge4.jpg (7489 bytes)Despite the rather "tough" appearance, the Bull Terrier is a real sweetie! This adorable terrier breed (made popular by "Spuds McKenzie" of Budweiser beer commercials) originated in England - a cross between the (now extinct) White English Terrier and the English Bulldog - and has since muscled his way into the hearts and homes of dog lovers everywhere. Friendly and fun-loving with a feisty side, the Bull Terrier makes an exceptional family pet who loves people - especially children. This muscular, heavy-set breed has a short, glossy coat that comes in two variations - all white or white with markings. The Bull Terrier needs minimal grooming and only moderate exercise, making it suitable for almost any sized home - city or country. They thrive on human attention, and do not enjoy being cooped up by themselves, preferring to keep their owners company. They are prone to food allergies and should follow a prescribed diet.
