This aristocratic looking breed makes a loyal, affectionate and protective family pet, and excels in wild game hunting and obedience training. Weimaraners stand from 23 to 27 inches at the shoulder. The sleek, steel-grey coat requires minimal grooming - weekly brushing keeps it clean and shiny. Weimaraners are very intelligent and are easily trained. They do best in country settings or homes with large yards.
